题目一:Dynamic behavior of entropy of the compressible Navier-Stokes equations

内容简介:In the presence of vacuum, the physical entropy for polytropic gases behave singularly and it is thus hard to study its dynamics. In this talk, we present some recent studies on the dynamic behavior of the entropy to the viscous compressible ideal gases in the presence of vacuum either at the far field or on the gas-vacuum interface. It will be shown in this talk that, in the case that the vacuum presents at the far fields only, the uniform boundedness of the entropy can be propagated locally or globally if the initial density decays slowly, while if the initial density decays sufficiently fast, the entropy becomes unbounded immediately after the initial time, in particular, the entropy tends to infinity at the far field.

报告人简介:华南师范大学数学科学学院教授,博士生导师。2022年入选国家高层次人才特殊支持计划科技创新领军人才,2018年入选国家海外高层次人才引进计划青年项目,曾获得“2020世界华人数学家联盟最佳论文奖金奖(2020 ICCM Best Paper Award)以及第二届中国科协优秀科技论文奖。目前已在包括CPAM, Adv. Math, JFA, ARMA, CPDE, SIMA等国际学术期刊上发表SCI论文40多篇。

内容简介:This talk is about the traveling waves for degenerate diffusion equations, including porous medium, p-Laplacian and polypropic filtration type diffusion.

报告人简介:华南师范大学数学科学学院教授,博导。广东特支计划科技创新青年拔尖人才,重庆市巴渝学者讲座教授,(国家)粤港澳应用数学中心副秘书长。主要从事非线性扩散方程的研究工作,先后主持国家自然科学基金、教育部及广东省和广州市各类科研项目多项,发表论文50余篇。曾应邀赴法国马赛大学,加拿大麦吉尔大学和香港理工大学等高校学术访问。
